Digimon or Pokemon?

Which do you guys prefer? from the 5 seasons of digimon and the 17-18ish pokemon seasons? i am a bigger fan of digimon than pokemon cause atleast the characters grow up and interact with the newer younger generation, yet how much they change is from season to season is kinda wierd but then again the digiworld was always changing. and in pokemon they just keep repackaging the same stuff just adding new pokemon who just all of a sudden 'get discovered' cause thewres no communication from land to land. both shows are great and pokemon has the far better games but Digimon always gots a special place in my heart

The pokemon games kick the shit out of the digimon ones

I don't care about the manga/tv show/etc for either one

Pokemon all the way as long as we're talking about the seasons that were on the WB from '98-'06. Digimon did have the better stories but Pokemon was just more entertaining. You can't top James in women's clothing.

Pokemon all the way as long as we're talking about the seasons that were on the WB from '98-'06. Digimon did have the better stories but Pokemon was just more entertaining. You can't top James in women's clothing.

Are we talking about the shows or games? Digimon literally seems like a Pokemon ripoff, and the Pokemon games are so much fun.

I think they were reffering to the animes, not the games.

I've seen quite a bit of both, but I always preferred Digimon. It was on in the early mornings in college when I was really sick, and it got me through.

Pokemon is what I prefer of course.

Though I do like Digimon, mostly just seasons 1-3 tried watching season 4 couldn't get pass the first episode watched Season 5/Data Squad wasn't as bad as four, but don't think I'll be watching it. and as for Digimon games, I only have Digimon World 1 on PS1.

Oh and Red Blue and Yellow are pretty terrible games. Gold Silver and Crystal are great though.

Also a lot of the newer designs are much better than gen 1 designs. I mean living sludge? A creepy mime? A poke ball? A rock? A radish? Every generation has crappy pokemon.

Digimon had an interesting concept but was ruined by all the kid's boring talk, should've been like 70% fighting. Budget would've never allowed for that though.

I was big into the pokemon cards, and I enjoyed the Digimon show. I liked them both equally as a kid.
