thread like this makes me wish there was going to be more star wars games. I'd kill kill for another kotor or any star wars rpg
Bane_09
God damn me too
And vader would win
Same. For some reason the MMO "Galaxies" and "The Old Republic" just didn't really appeal to me. Although both KOTOR's were fricken sweet. The Jedi Knight Academy series was pretty awesome, especially during the xbox live days. I think there is a Jedi Knight Academy Mod called Movie Mods which makes it pretty fricken sweet.ThisVader fought under the style/training of Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan fought under the style and training of Quigon, Quigon was defeated by Darth Maul.
I'd say Darth Maul.
And don't go on about Obi-Wan beating Maul. Â Doesn't even count, he beat both of them and then Obi-Wan did some George Lucas flip BS where over the course of like nine minutes Maul didn't decide to smack his ass down or block his strike.

[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"][QUOTE="fnevaeva"]Bane isn't even relevant to the Star Wars Movies time period is he? Isn't he in KOTOR? and that's like, forever before the films.fnevaeva
No.. Bane was a few thousand years after KOTOR.. He is the one that started the Rule of Two for the Sith.. That being said.. Vader.. Vader was actually a Sith Lord.. Maul was a assassin..  And Sidious himself never intended him to be any more than that due to him not being strong enough.
Then why is Darth Maul given the title of a sith lord?He was never a real sith lord. Also, Obi-Wan Kenobi killed him. And Darth Vader killed Obi-Wan. Also, after Kenobi killed Darth Maul, he was brought back to life through some kind of cybernetic mumbo-jumbo, and after that, Kenobi thwarted his plans (nearly killing him again) multiple times. Vader himself also had to fight a clone of Darth Maul at one point, and killed him.
At 3:40 of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvnwLLXHabg Dooku says to Yoda "It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the force, but by our skills with a lightsabre". I would assume Darth Vader and Darth Maul would go to lightsabres as they would be equally good with the force. And yes, Maul uses the force in his fight scene in episode 1.
Vader was and is the most powerful, Maul is just an apprentice where Vader is full blown master. Vader would kick Maul's ass in seconds.Vader fought under the style/training of Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan fought under the style and training of Quigon, Quigon was defeated by Darth Maul.

So many Vader haters out there. This is easy, Darth Vader would win easy, Maul is pretty much a pawn, and I would say he is half the man Vader is.
Qui-Gon's whole style works in open areas, but not so much in closed areas. Obi-Wan realized that and changed his stance to a more defensive form, the Soresu. The problem with Darth Maul's style is that while a sabrestaff offers multiple attack angles, it is incapable of breaching Obi-Wan's form. Eventually, Maul would be worm down before Obi-wan delivers the killing blow.Vader fought under the style/training of Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan fought under the style and training of Quigon, Quigon was defeated by Darth Maul.

Who do you think would win in this fight: Count Dooku vs. Saruman the White? At 3:40 of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvnwLLXHabg Dooku says to Yoda "It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the force, but by our skills with a lightsabre". [QUOTE="jeremiah06"]If we take fight sequences then Darth Maul if we take "stats" Darth Vader... Vader had the most powerful force "maybe besides yoda/sidious" His swordsmanship was super hight level too... If we really examine the force then it's use "irl" would be 300 times more used... the movies were limited to special effect budgets... or "plot" severely limiting its use... Nuck81After he lost his arms and legs Vaders Power level went below The Emporers and Yodas. It put him about equal to Obi Wan
It wasn't the loss of the said limbs that weakened him, it was his continued guilt and dispair for his wife to what he had done.. In one of the comics he comes close to killing him self over it.
