I've never been to a concert, but I just got a call from a friend that Bright Eyes is coming! So I got tickets immediately, and I am so excited I can hardly bare it.
What concerts have you been to, and how many?

I've been to one concert, a long time ago. It was okay. In general, I don't care for live events. All the effort to get there, and I don't get much more out of it than if I'd just watched at home or at a sports bar. That goes for sporting events that I am into, and I'm not that much into music.
I love Bright Eyes. I heard they are great live, too. I've been to a few: Staind, Breaking Benjamen, Hootie and the Blowfish, Billy Corgan, Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World.BreakTheseLinksI am so excited, as I've already said, but I can't say it enough. I AM SO EXCITED. lol. That's a lot of concerts! And I feel like seeing someone live could be so wonderful, and so electric feeling.

Yeah for Billy Corgan's concert I could have reached my arm out and touched him (that would have gotten me pummeled by security, though) it was freakin' awesome. I would love to have the chance to meet Connor Oberst so I could pick his brain.
I don't remember how many concerts I have been to, but it has to be close to 100 or so. I went to 6 in 2008 alone. I also went to one race that year (actually it was 2 races on the same day).

Yeah I went with my GF at the time and I pretended to be having a good time when in reality jamming pencils in my ears would have been so nice.
Been to 3 in my life.. so far.
I Went to Jon lajoie (youtube guy, it was pretty good lol)
AC/DC. Very good.
and finally Ozzy **** Osbourne. Best concert of my life, unless Pink floyd does another show.
Played a bunch of Sabbath songs, like "Fairies wear boots" and "Electric Funeral" plus the popular one's of course. He had like 4 encores it was insane...

She got tickets right next to the catwalk like part of the stage in the middle so we got mobbed everytime they came down it to play .
I've been to two concerts. One was a concert with a bunch of 80s bands like Flock of Seagulls and Dramrama, there were three other bands but I don't remember who they were. I didn't really care for the bands, my cousin invited me and I thought; what the heck why not.
My second concert I went to see Dinosaur Jr. and they rocked. The opening band were some dudes from Australia, followed by Lou Barlow + The Missing Men.
Too many to count or remember.LJS9502_basicHave you seen the Cure live? My cousin always gushes about how "godly" they are live.
For big concerts, I've been to:
Bowfire, at Citrus College
The Long Beach Symphony Orchestra
Hillsong Live (3 times-- I think in 2001, 2002 or 2003, and 2010). The 2001 and 2002 concerts I went to were at a church, the 2010 was at Club Nokia at LA Live in Los Angeles. Hillsong is a Christian music group from Australia that has contemporary Christian music.
Hillsong United (Hillsong's youth band). I saw them in 2004 at a church and I'm going on March 1 to their concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Reuben Morgan-- the worship pastor of the main Hillsong church in Australia-- he came with his own band in 2005.
Two, Weird Al and Rod Stewart because they're the only ones that have had shows at any reasonable distance from where I live. This July though I'm going to see Iron Maiden in Gothenburg since the date is lined up perfectly with my trip to Sweden.

this. if i had to estimate, probably somewhere around a hundred. hell, i went to over 20 shows the year after i graduated alone. good times.
I've been to quite a few over the years. Most recent one I attended was back in May. Two days, 38 bands. Rock On The Range in Columbus, Ohio. Awesome time.
Kudos for going to a Bright Eyes concert. He must be great live.
I've only been to one, and it was a band I've never listen to in my entire life. It was still fun though. I really need to see more.

Dayummmm..lol yeah, me and my best friend at the time went on a tear after high school. cleveland has a fun metal scene though so i got to see a lot of great local shows from bands like ringworm, keelhaul and integrity regularly.
One, and unfortunately it was Green Day. My girlfriend of the time got the tickets and asked me to go. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't go again.
I've also seen Dave Wilcox perform at a town fair, and have been part of a band for a couple 'battle of the bands'.
I've only been to 6, and only 2 of them were really great:
Bob Dylan/Willy Nelson - pretty good show
Journey/Heart - Journey was great, Heart sucked
Children of Bodom/Skeletonwitch/Black Dahlia Murder - went with friends, didn't really care for the bands. Had fun though.
Ensiferum/Ex Deo/Blackguard/Urn (was supposed to be Hypocrisy instead of Urn. :x) - Great show even if Hypocrisy wasn't there.
Three Days Grace/Adelita's Way/Chevelle - meh, went with friend's again. Three Days Grace put on a good show I guess.
Porcupine Tree/Bigelf - ****ing incredible.
I have seen at least 20 concerts. My favorites have been
Rush
High On Fire
Umphreys Mcgee 4 times...5 times on jan 28th
Iron Maiden!
AC/DC
Janes Addiction
Nine Inch Nails
Stone Temple Pilots
Dream Theater
John Butler Trio
KISS
And thats all I can think of for now. But I love going to see live shows. Jam bands being my favorite im looking to see Phish and moe. soon
