Burger King vs McDonalds for the win ..

So you guys, whats your choice ? And why ? I saw a trailer at the theater this weekend, and its not a joke. There is a movie coming out, on McDonalds, a real movie of how McDonalds started. I actaully like Burger King better, buy my kids always want McDonalds because they have better toys. What say you ?

Although I enjoy a Whopper every now and then I definitely prefer McDonald's. I love their fries and I prefer the taste of their burgers.

I´ve eaten burgers at : Wendy´s, White Castle, McDonald´s, Burger King, Carl´s Jr, Jack in the box, Hardee´s. from all those BK is my No.1 choice ( I even got a BK 3 blocks from my home ) followed by Carl´s.

Never eaten at Big Burger as they are not available in my city, but anyday i prefer a Big Mac , large fries to go with it and lastly a coke to wash those down with =P

Out of these 2, I pick McDonald's over Burger King.

Wendy's>Burger King>McDonald's

McDonald's also bogus for not having a dollar menu anymore.

Also to be fair, when I go to these places, I don't get the premium stuff.

OT: That could be an interesting documentary, sometimes the beginnings of a behemoth of a company can be interesting to learn about and discuss.

Regarding the food -- Mickey D's vs. BK? I'd go with McDonald's, due to consistency. They're drive-through and counter serve times are much faster. Also, the food is consistently better.

That stated, the few times I've had good BK, it was much better than Mcdonald's.

So many of you like Mickeys better. You know its all about the toys, just admit it, lol ..

I agree that's McDonald's breakfast is better than BK---usually.

I eat McDonalds more but I think I prefer the taste of Burger King. That right there should prove they put some mind controlling ingredients in their food!!!

Well I wasn't a fan of them changing their fries some years back. But I wouldn't say the current ones are bad.

I haven't had a burger from these two franchises in years since I've discovered Five Guys. In N Out tastes better in my opinion and we have a lot of them here in California.

I prefer burger kings burgers, but burger king suck at everything else.

They take ages to serve, the staff always seem rude and disinterested, and most often they will only ever have 1 till person on, sometimes that one till person is doing the kitchen to.

The eating area is always a mess, it's never cleaned in a day, so you end up having to move other people's filth your self to sit down and eat.

It's more expensive than McDonald's.

They are behind the times with technology they don't have any self order terminals or any fast lane systems in busy city centres

Many a time the food can consist of a poorly presented burger and fries that have are cold and stale.

It's burger king don't even try to compete.

Burger King and its not even close. McDs burgers are pure ass, no taste to them and they look disgusting. If I eat there I always get chicken nuggets.

Not a big fast food guy, but BK in England is rank! Crap service followed by poorly constructed food. The only thing worse is KFC.

In and out burger is the bombdiggity, but they are not everywhere like these two. BK, and Mickeys are everywhere these days. I will try to get my kids to move over to the BK side, but they always prefer the Mick D. We dont' go often, but i see the opinions on this page leans mostly towards the Mick D's. They must be filthy rich.

Burger King/Wendy's chicken nuggets are better than McDonald's.

Looking forward to heading out west one day and trying In-N-Out. We have this local chain called Salem's They're actually a greek spot, but they have an absolutely fantastic angus burger (great restaurant-style fries, too) that few people know about since everyone gets the chicken or gyros.

Between those two, gotta go with the arches. Wouldn't pick either with a whole field of choices though.

Burger King's fries are god awful. They're just oil-blanched, under-salted soggy potato sticks. I don't know what they have against caramelization, but they need to learn about it.That alone is reason enough for me to favor McDonalds.

I think the Whopper (BK) is vastly superior to anything McDonalds has, but that's the only thing BK has going for it. And as I said, their fries are insulting. McD's breakfast is also much much better than BK's.

I don't really like either very much, though.

Definitely Burger King. I like everything about their food more, honestly. Their burgers are tastier, their fries are better, they have more options of things to choose from. Hell, their commercials are even better.

The whopper is the best burger of those two but overall I like the choice of products of McDonald's more.

Neither. Chick-Fil-A (although I avoid them on principle), Wendy's, etc. In and Out is good but we don't have them here, but we've got a local chain called Larkburger that has really good burgers.

Neither. I prefer the grill in my backyard and my wife's homemade french fries.

Burger King is better, I think. Both the fries and the quality of the burgers. But it is a little pricier than most McDs meals.

^^My main issue w/ BK is the service. Somehow their drive-through is worse than in-lobby, both in terms of timeliness and customer service/friendliness.

I'm going to have to go with McDonald's. 1. I grew up with that stuff. 2. Breakfast menu. And overall like the food much better.

The BK Double Stacker wins on best burger, they stopped making them for a while but I was at a rural BK off the highway while driving between states just a couple weeks back and saw it on their menu there, double checked and yeah it's back baby.

Otherwise, Micky D's for the McRibb, when it's in season.

Anyhow, McDonald's are all over, you don't see them closing down all around like I've seen with BK's over the years. So McDonald's is a stronger company no doubt.
