Pretty incredible, I feel that animals in general aren't given as much credit as they probably deserve when it comes to their intellect.
This. I'm tired of humans making stupid comparisons to animals, arguing how much superior we are to them with things like 'free will', conscious decision, brain language and emotion.Pretty incredible, I feel that animals in general aren't given as much credit as they probably deserve when it comes to their intellect.

The thing is, that is using a direct mental process comparison between humans and animals. To think that they would function mentally in the exact same way, just at a lower level is an absurd notion. Animals may comprehend things, that we A) don't realize they comprehend, or B) in ways different, but not necessarily supeior or inferior to our own ways.
I think it should be made clear that I am in no way saying animals are more intelligent than humans, atleast humans as a whole, however we as a species are far to primitive to began to understand the full intellectual capabilities of another species.
Interesting find. I am tired, though, so I will read the rest of the article after I am done sleeping and hopefully offer a more insightful post then!Hexagon_777K, read the whole thing now. This feat seems to be reserved for a minority of parrots, it seems!
