Best concert(s) you have seen this year?

I have only been to ONE so far...which sucks. But I saw Dream Theater/Iron Maiden and it was very very sick.

Upcoming concerts I will be attending:

Little Brothers final show :(

Surfer Blood (if im living in DC by then)

and hopefully Beastie Boys if the album comes out this year.

them crooked vultures. john paul jones did a 10min keyboard solo. the whole band sat down and watched him. it was freaking beautiful

Dream Theater has been the best concert this year. But im seeing Lady Gagas monster ball August 19th and 21st so that will be the best for A LONG time.

It's fantastic :D. A little short, but man do those guys know how to put on a show.

I saw the New Pornographers about two weeks back. I liked the performance, but the venue sucked, and the show wasn't sold out. Neko had plane troubles that day, but they still sounded pretty great without her, when everyone got up close to the stage and rocked out.

i want to say muse but it was rather disappointing, mainly due to the lackluster setlist.

the best i've seen this year is a close up between faith no more, gossip and skunk anansie.

Iggy and the Stooges so far is the oly cocert I've been to this year. I was hopig to go to Motreal to catch Rammstein...but I didn't have enough money.

If it counts, Vans Warped Tour: Enter Shikari.

Blew my balls off.

Really wish I had money for Rock The Bells this year. Sucks being broke.

I've never been to a concert but I want to.

I haven't been to a single concert this year, much to chagrin. It's going to drive me insane.

Was going to see U2, but they postponed until next summer. Bono got sick. I work at Qwest Field in Seattle. Would have been nice to work and see a concert. Not a huge U2 fan, but it would have been a big show.

Oh I thought it would be 98 live. That tour was amazing

I've only seen Rush this year, and that was awesome. I'm going to see Slayer with Megadeth and Testament in two days, so that should be good.

Imogen Heap. It was one of the best days of my life. After the concert I actually met Imogen. We had a small chat and she signed my shirt.

If I could get tickets to a Lady Gaga concert, then that might be even better. :P

You can probably find face value priced tickets on craigslist and stub hub. Just check everyday. There will be some there.

Only saw Trooper... wasn't bad, aside from the old people

saw iron maiden this year it was really good. one of the few bands that actually sound betterlive then on the album.

They are doing one in Anaheim on September 23rd, which is the night I'm seeing them :D. Sadly though it will only be my second concert this year. I saw Bad Religion in March or something, and they were awesome.

This year? Vampire Weekend and I'm going to Aerosmith at Fenway.

I saw Muse in Portland in March and it was FRICKIN' AMAZING! They have such a show!

I've only seen one this year and it was Iron Maiden with Dream Theater as the opening act.

Awesome show except for Miaden's setlist...was missing way too much good stuff.
