How does this in any way look terrible? It's fine.

The other day I discovered that while I was drunk one night I had tried to take the garbage out on recycle night. I realized the mistake on seeing the yellow lids on the other cans in the neighborhood, brought the trash can back up, brought the recycle bin down, and left the trash can in the yard for a few days, forgetting to put in back in the car-port. . When I finally realized what I'd done it was too late. The trash can was filled with a layer of maggots feasting on the remnants of a chicken rotisserie. I had to wrap all the contents of my trash can in a trap and throw the dripping grub infested mess into a dumpster at an apartment complex nearby.

And nothing I saw during that experience was even close to being as repulsive as this re-design.

How does this in any way look terrible? It's fine.

There's no way that's real. I understand they want to do something simplistic, but.. really? I'm sure I'll get used to it, but my initial impression isn't a good one.

Really, if there's one thing they should have done, it's give us LARGER AVATARS. They're too small as it is.

Wow, that's horrendous. It's as if they didn't even try to make it look any different from GB's forums.

Hell, every poster is going to look the same now, besides the avatars and signatures. Also looks like they've reduced the avatar size as well.

its fine, there is nothing wrong with it. it has been stated, in an offical manner, that there will be signatures. there was nothing mentioned about a change to the avatars. there is too much complaining. that will always happen though, thats what boards are for. im sure there will be no mass exodus. whineing feels good sometimes.

i like having ideas. it would be enriching to the place if: instead of people quoting people who quoted people, & so on ending up with a giant cereal box size post to serve the purpose of saying "lulz," the reply button at the edge of each post should have a better purpose. clicking reply would add a link of the user's message the reply was to in the new post's message that would lead to single post view of that original message.

if its not asking for too much, there could be a notify to one's profile when a post of yours is replied to.

this is asking for too much. perhaps a string view when there is a volley of replies between users and to all those replying in it; seperate conversations in each thread. all posts would appear in the main thread, but a poster would access the seperate string when repling to a post in that conversation.
