Why so much criticism? Some people call them emo. They have some emoish stuff, and some sad and meaningful stuff, there is a difference. And many people just say they're not metal. Did they say they were metal? They are metalcore or hard rock, whatever. They are one of my favorite bands, and I want to know what other people think.

Probably my favorite band, I've listend to them for a long time now. They really went all out on their self-titled album; really meaningful lyrics, wicked guitar solos, and etc. My favorite songs are Gunslinger, Afterlife, Dear God, Unbound, and A Little Piece of Heaven(the music video is bizarre).

They are ok. Their songs can be catchy, but nothing I would go out and buy and entire album of.

I hate how some A7X fans hail Synyster Gates as the Second Coming of Jesus on the guitar. He's good, but not great.

Well, at least they didn't sell out like KISS. I think it's all good with A7X music, but City of evil owns the rest (That's th one with trashed and scattered.

They are ok. Their songs can be catchy, but nothing I would go out and buy and entire album of.

They are the usual run-of-the-mill mainstream hard rock. Once you pull away from the mainstream, atleast the U.S MTV mainstream you begin to see where the real talent is located.

they're allright. Not amazing but not bad imo. I really like Beast/Sieze/and Remenissions.

my expectation of music heard on the Tv (during normal hours) has been reduced to 0, so they are a welcomed changed.

I think they're great. I don't care if you think their music sucks, or their singer sucks, or their guitarist isn't as good as (insert some random guitarist's name here), that's all a matter of opinion.

But personally, i think they're great, and they've been my top band for 5 years.

I said they are not THE best punk band. What I mean by that is that out of the many punk bands you probably don't know Dead Kennedys is far from being the best. Probably one of the most well known.

I love their song "Sidewinder"!
