The "Jesus never existed" arguments are so painfully awful that I find this parody quite amusing.

They're comparing Abe to deities and Santa, and saying "because we cannot prove Santa or the deities existed, why should we believe Abe existed." They've got the deities labeled as "presidents" though, and claimed Horus was called "President" in ancient egypt.

When I saw that the TC was Silenthps I was expecting this thread to be from at least five years ago.

I am legitimately surprised to see this (although I'm not surprised to see that the content of the OP is total shit).

Jesus existed, he simply is not the son of an imaginary god who does not exist until proven otherwise.

Which proves f*ck all. Yesua wasn't exactly an uncommon name for the time and place. Using that as evidence is about like someone 2,000 years from now saying "I'm sure there was someone named Joshua back in the day".

Not really. Most of the non-biblical records of Jesus were written after he supposedly died. None of the prominent historians in Jerusalem at the time even mentioned a Jesus. That being said I am of the opinion that there was a Jesus of Nazareth who attracted a following

Philo of Alexandria, minus the Jerusalem part think there are others I am forgetting. But anyways, some of the "proof" of Jesus was from centuries after his death, which is hardly proof at all

Nothing really.Ā  The evidence for his existence is crap at best, but is 100% irrelevant to my position that his following/religion is bologna

Yup, most historians pay lip service to the thought that Jesus existed. But there isn't any real evidence for the existence of the Jesus of the Bible.

being a joke isn't always an excuse for stupidity. Jokes are supposed to have some wit behind them, not just nonsense with ignorant connotations.
