a)1933, he hoped to gain more control. b)so they could gain their power over poland back and claim them for the queen. c)The treaty broke the tension between the nations and caused Germany to fight back.

Britain was allied with belgium. When Germany attacked belgium britain got involved because we promised them we would protect their independance (not sure but i think this was probably to piss off the french originally).

The treaty is generally seen as the main cause, due to the fact that it took everything away Germany and leaving it in the wreck it was. Hitler not liking this, fought back, but failed on several attempts, and was also imprisoned for a few years. But Hitler convinced the Fuhrer to announce a State of Emergency, and this gave Hitler power. I havent explained fully, but these are some main outlines

It wasnt to piss of the French, the French were also involved in the Entente, but they surrendered to Germany at some point

Ah well I just assumed the reason we protected Beligiums independance originally was so france didnt invade.
