Anybody else watch Nostalgia Critic?

Yes I do, I'm a big fan :) I like him more when he does reviews by himself though.

I did when I was younger.

Now I can't stand him. His voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard and he goes on about dumb shit that I don't feel like taking the time to listen to. I don't have 45 minutes to dedicate to watching him rip apart some shitty animated movie no one has ever cared about.

There just isn't any point to it. We know the movies are bad, we know why. It isn't constructive criticism. It's just pointing out very obvious things that suck about old films no one gives a shit about.

He went too far with the character, which is what most internet "celebrities" do when they start getting popular. They realize they can make money essentially doing nothing so they churn out more content and it stops being anything close to entertaining. If he didn't make a video for every movie he thought was kind of stupid I might still like him, and making fun of the really shitty movies CAN be entertaining, but not to the extent that I'll keep watching him do it forever.
