I'll say though that not letting the aid get through is pretty dispicable on the israelis part.

Was there any AMERICANS that were pro-hamas? The TERRORIST group? That weren't TERRORISTS. Also, Was there anyone that was pro-hamas that wasn't in a TERRORIST group? Or thinks that 9/11 is a CONSPIRACY?

Personally I think those directly involved in the conflict on both sides are genocidal religous nuts, and it is the common palestinian and isreali who want peace and basic human rights for all that suffer. I have felt this way for a long time, and every single one of these conflicts reinforce that opinion for me.

Many people who were previously neutral in the situation or had sided with Israel in prior events had switched over to siding with Hamas during the conflict. Did I not make it clear in my first post?

I've said this many times, and I will say it again: they should just split Israel into two countries (Israel and Palestine), and make Jerusalem a neutral city, separate of both countries. Problem solved 8).

Would both sides be satisfied with a Jerusalem outside of their countries though?

maybe for some. I'm strongly pro-Isreal, plus Gaza has been bombing Israel civilians all year long. It's about time they learned not to screw with Israel.

Well it is, they brainwashed some palestinians, as they built schools and they used propaganda at the schools they built, pro hamas..their charter is to destroy Zion Israel. They are the ones who usually break the cease fires..they suicide bomb populated areas full of citizens.

That's why I'm going to vote for the social democratic Avoda party and maybe even for Hadash in the upcoming Israeli elections instead of the more capitalistic and militaristic Likud party. As I tend to be a socialist and am pretty much anti-capitalist I see that as a good choice.

I'm personally thinking Britain needs to retake this wayward coloney and teach it some respect.....and if that doesn't work we get some new nuclear testing grounds for when the population has been moved across any and all borders.

Christ dude if you think that's bad just read up on what Israel soldiers did to Palestinian citizens during this mini-episode. Why is it the Palestinians are always ignored?

Considering that both sides are just as guilty of war crimes as the other, I think that both sides need to be sanctioned by the UN, or even better have their governments deposed.

I guess I'm more "pro" Israel, but at the same time I don't really think it's America's opinion that matters, and I personally don't believe the country should choose a side. I understand that Hamas is a terrorist organization to most people and basically a puppet for Iran, but we're askin to be attacked again.

Probably the fact that they launch rockets into Israel and run away and then cry about their people when the Israeli's retaliate. If there were rockets coming into your country daily would you just be okay with it and sit around?

No I would take action too but I wouldn't go as far as Israel did. 1500+ women and children dead and who knows how many more wounded. Wouldn't that make Israel more of a terrorist group than Hamas?

There is a difference between first strike and counter attack. Hamas can only use crappy little rockets that kill one person every month or whatever, Israel retaliated with a massive amount of force...

You know what, why am I even arguing, I said I don't really think this is a place America should step in. The conflict is complex, personally I don't care if they nuke eachother as long as im still standing in the end.

My friend is very intelligent and makes sure things he says are backed up. I have no reason to doubt him and if he is wrong he humbly admits he is wrong. He usually isn't wrong and it is a rare case when he is.

I don't support anyone who shoots anyone. someone who's willing to shell a school because they got some small arms fire from there is just out of it. I don't care what the circumstances are, you don't do that.

hahahaha righteous. yeah, totally. I mean, I don't support Israel shelling schools so I'm like PRO terrorist. what a no-brainer, right?!

Hamas uses children as human shields. It ought to be a no brainer, and yeah, it sucks that innocents died, a lot more than there should have been, but thats war.

Why the hell does the blame never fall on Israel? If I shot and killed you, would the gun be tried or me?
