So do people hate Nas's "Untitled" now?

I got it the first day it came out.....bumped it in my ride for a good month. Now I just listen to certain songs here and there from the comp or ipod.

I thought it was a good album overall

Yea Hero is a sick track, the beat on it is nasty. The rest of the album is good but I have to agree with others and say that the replay value is average. Any news on another album?

I heard his album collaboration with Damian Marley was supposed to drop this summer or something dunno if it has been pushed back there haven't been any news on it for a couple of months now.

I haven't listened to it since 2009 began...only song  I still bump is Y'all My *****s...that and Hero are still piff.

Oh, and for the record, I've thought this album was awful for quite some time.

He is on the Rock THe Bells Tour with Damien Marley getting ready for the album.

Never liked it. Nas' new stuff is trash.

Nas is still the dude. I dunno what you're talking about. Still spits very well... even after 10+ years in the game. He just chooses bad production often. I'd get it if you said his albums were boring or something because his production can make them such for some people. But saying Nas is boring just doesn't make sense to me :?

nas hasn't made good music since stillmatic and god's son. everything since then has been, "yeah, this is alright, i can **** with it for a month," but nothing close to standing the test of time.

and i have way too much good music to listen to to mess with stuff that's just alright

... what the hell? you guys think this is good? hero is so wack man, it's the very definition of what i'm talking about: BOOOORING. he's talking about nothing, there are no witty rhymes, the similes are LOL -- "working like muay thai ****"? are you serious? 

and we don't even need to talk about his flow, it's been the same unsinpired nas flow for so long now...

and just picking another random song from untitled, how about sly fox.

i'm too lazy to paste the lyrics because i don't feel like editing out the cussing and stuff, but it's like... okay, he's not telling us anything we don't know, nothing in a new or clever way. "i watch CBS, and i see BS." wow, good one Nas! he's just talking in boring generalities with an uncomplicated rhyme scheme with an uninspired beat and flow. it's not bad, but it's not good, either.

Who said anything about taking it personally? Maybe I just don't feel like having to prove why something is good? If I like it, then I like it. If you don't, cool. I'm not always going to feel like backing my opinion on something. At the end of the day, our thoughts are practically the same and we have wasted a good few hours talking on an internet forum. It can be good fun and open your eyes to some stuff, but not everyone always feels like doing that. I think you guys take this whole "prove your opinion" thing too seriously sometimes.

I probably get into arguments/real discussions over music more than anyone else here. I just don't feel like having to back up everything I say constantly. I mean damn... can a nukka get a break? What happened to just being able to say something without having to go into paragraphs and pages of argument?

People don't agree with what you say 90% of the time....that's why they belittle your opinion, or argue against it. If people laugh at my opinion I don't always respond to it...you should do the same.

I think Untitled is Nas' best album since Illmatic, somebody prove me wrong here.
