Poll: What's Your Favorite Old School Mario Game?

i always loved smb2... i never got the hate..it felt so unique to me...same for zelda 2..loved them.

Mario World is when the series really went beyond simple platformer IMO. All of the secrets in that game, it's far more metroidvania than you realize.

I had to go with 3, felt the most classic to me, without having to redo everything :P

I love Super Mario World, its hard to choose since so many are so good, but SMW is something very special.

Super Mario World. Hands down.

Mario world looked more whimsical and childish than previous entries. But considering the secrets..etc It's a close tie with SMB 3 for me. I also really enjoyed SMB 2 and I enjoyed the new enemies and Wart was a cool end boss. Also the fact that each character had different skills, you could even play as princess Peach, I mean c'mon, how come they never made another one like this?

World just Flawless with the mechanics and amazing level design.

Super Mario Bros 3. Usually on the list of top 10 favorite games for me and the first game I beat.
