I've purchased CoPilot GPS which has been wonderful. I don't always have the best reception (sometime even no reception at all) to use Google maps adequately, so this app has been great for the few times I've needed it. I have thought about perhaps purchasing Beautiful Widgets myself.

During the 10 cent sale a while back I got quite a few programs, like soundhound, TuneIn Radio, Paper Camera.and beautiful widgets. That is all I can remember from that sale. The only apps I have paid full price for were 3G Watchdog, great app for keeping track of data usage, I liked the free version so much I wanted to support the maker. The other one was Slingplayer, while it cost $30, now I can watch my TV anywhere I go if I have good enough coverage.

I've got quite a few over the years, but the only ones I use now are:

  • CamScanner - a great photo-2-pdf creation tool for documents
  • Documents To Go - for the odd edit and read off word files
  • Graph 89 - a fantastic Texas Instruments 89 calculator emulator
  • MX Player Pro - movies!
  • Sports Tracker Pro - track where I'm running
  • SwiftKey 3 - only for the phone as I don't need it on the tablets
  • TapeMachine Recorder - for recording lectures, seminars, etc
  • Wolfram Alpha - as a researcher, this is one of my most used apps
  • gReader Pro - best looking RSS reader that syncs to my Google Reader account
  • Dropsync Pro - schedule dropbox syncs with ease
  • Business Calendar - for the Galaxy Tab only as its calendar is a shocker

How is MX player pro. Is it worth it? I'm using the free version for my videos

I only have 3 paid apps.

  • FPse (well that can be considered a gaming app since it's an emulator)
  • Juice Defender Pro
  • Star Chart

It's been awhile, but I think the only difference is the removal of ads. I hate ads in apps, so I'll always pay for the upgrade if it's one I intend to use often.

I went nuts on the $0.10 sale too:
  • Instant Heart Rate Pro
  • Christmas HD
  • Beautiful Widgets
  • Star Chart
  • SwiftKey 3 Keyboard
  • SoundHound
  • SketchBook Mobile
  • Paper Camera
  • Color & Draw for Kids
  • MX Player (won it with Android Police)

One of these days I'll probably buy the premium version of Juice Defender

I haven't bought any yet, but I plan on buying the beautiful widgets app, poweramp, and maybe tapatalk, although I'm not sure about tapatalk because I dont know how exactly it works and there isn't a demo for it. But I am definitely getting BW and PA because the trial version of PA has AWESOME sound, way better than google music and the stock music app.

I don't pay for apps besides the occasional game. The is always a free substitute to every paid app.
