I figure that this would belong here, considering that's all about cell phones, etc.

Anyway, what are the best places (or best sites) do you think that I could get a Samsung Galaxy S III without a contract? I'm considering buying one to upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S1 phone that I have.

Edit: Or do you think that I should hold out on even more something better, like this?

I don't know if they have any right now, not sure though.

But if you wait for the S4 to come out, which I heard might be in may? Maybe.

Then all the non contract carriers will start getting S3's probably soonafter and you'll see a price drop. I would wait.

I would hold out for some of the newer phones.

If you haven't already, you should root your Galaxy S and install something like Cyanogenmod 10 (Android 4.1.2).

T-mobile will sell you one for $550+ or you could try ebay/craigslist.
