Was this a good price to pay for the Nexus 4?

Hey guys, I just bought the Google Nexus 4 from the Google Play Store. I got the 16gb version for $349, and with shipping (about $16) and tax (about $44... yeah I live in Canada) it came out to about $424. I wouldn't be on a contract which is the good thing since I bought it, and it'll take about 2 weeks for it to ship to me. What do you guys think of this purchase?

That's fine, not much you can do about tax.

Good purchase. As far as I know it's cheapest on the Play store, and I agree with getting the 16 GB version. If I hadn't bought the Galaxy Nexus in August I would buy a Nexus 4, it's a good phone.

Sounds like a good price to me. You can't do anything about tax, and while that shipping cost sucks, it's still an excellent deal.

I have the 12GB and paid $379 on Google.

*With taxes, it's 12GB that's useable-- I have the 16gb model.

That's pretty much the default unusable size for phones these days.

Wow... that sucks. Does it fill up quickly? I don't have much music, maybe around 300 songs, and I'd get some games and apps like voxer and snapchat.

No idea, I don't have one, I have a One X with 32 gigs, ~26 of which usable and for me it's more or less enough (if having only 4 gigs free out of that much can be considered enough), I only keep around 500-600 songs with me all the time, but I also have 3 or 4 episodes of various shows I don't always have time to watch on TV from time to time, what fills most of it up are apps, can't live without a a good number of various apps and especially games, some of which take up to 1.8 gigs, like FIFA 12, Asphalt 7, Modern Combat 4, etc.

Ah I see, yeah I hear that using Dropbox or whatever is a good way to store stuff, but I have a feeling it would drain data like crazy. Here in Canada data plans are nowhere near as generous as the States.

I use dropbox, sky drive, google drive and mediafire all the time, only on wi-fi tho, that's for files I use, won't help much with keeping more space free in this case :P almost all of it goes on apps.
