Snapdragon 810 devices are only ~3 months away. If we haven't heard anything about a release outside of the US by now, I doubt it would make it to another market within the next month or so.

Snapdragon 805 with its separate modem (increased cost), and Krait (ARMv7) cores has acted as a filler SoC between Snapdragon 801 and 810. This is why a number of major manufacturers have skipped Snapdragon 805 and are waiting for Snapdragon 810.

While there are some similarities, the results are massive changes between Snapdragon 805 (28 nm) and 810 (20 nm).

@NVIDIATI:

Well looks like I'm forced to wait for the Snapdragon 810, in ideally a smaller phone (or what people consider small now).

A 5.2" 2560*1440p with 810 and 3GB RAM priced at $650 USD is all I'm after, I could even go down to 4.8" and I wouldn't mind.

@GTR12 Looks like I spoke too soon:

Motorola has an event planned on Nov. 5th in Brazil
Motorola has an event planned on Nov. 5th in Brazil

Then again, we'll have to see how long it takes for the device to reach consumers in other markets.

@NVIDIATI:

Yes!!! that's awesome news. I hope they give an indication of the price (outright I'm hoping). Its hard to guess just by the US prices.

I think they're going to release the Droid Turbo to other carriers as the Moto X Play edition as its a souped up Moto X with crazy specs
