Who in their right mind would hold that next to their face and talk on it as a phone.... -_-' seriously i thought 5.3 was massive. This is just over the top. 4.7/4.8 is the maximum sweet spot for a phone, and thats pushing it.mystic_knightEh the galaxy note sold 10 million I think so there is a big market that would.
This is a 5.5" 16:9 screen whereas the note 1 is a 5.3" 16:10 screen. It's actually narrower than the note 1 but taller. Since the GS3 is already 4.8" the note will lose it's purpose if it's not significantly bigger.

I know its got a market but this is larger than the original, i seriously doubt this device will be as popular as the original. ITS MASSIVE![QUOTE="Gambler_3"]Eh the galaxy note sold 10 million I think so there is a big market that would.[QUOTE="mystic_knight"]Who in their right mind would hold that next to their face and talk on it as a phone.... -_-' seriously i thought 5.3 was massive. ITS MASSIVE!I dont think so, it's better to have a taller phone than a wider one. I always thought 5.5" 16:9 is the ideal size for this sort of a phone. Even though I wouldnt in my right mind buy something like this but if I was forced to live with the size of either phone I'll take the note 2 over the note 1 anyday. The key thing to see is that they have separate aspect ratios.[QUOTE="Gambler_3"]Eh the galaxy note sold 10 million I think so there is a big market that would.[QUOTE="mystic_knight"]Who in their right mind would hold that next to their face and talk on it as a phone.... -_-' seriously i thought 5.3 was massive. I got my note back in July and honestly that is standard phone size for me now. When I see my friends with their phones they are too small for me and I could never go back. And why does everyone make such a big deal about putting it up to your ear and looking wierd. It doesn't look wierd at all when I talk on my note.
NVIDIATIlol, wow, that fellow has some size to him. It's like holding a paving brick up to your face.

"include"?? You can just buy one!!Gambler_3Yes you could, but it would be super convenient if they included one for such a large phone. Hmmm.... then again, that would be like them admitting that the device is too big as a phone...
Wow a 5.5 inch screen? Phones these days are getting way too big. Something of this size is like carrying around a tablet in your pocket.
I guess I must have small hands, using one hand I can't even reach every corner of the 4.65 inch screen of my Galaxy Nexus.
Nope 4.7" should be the biggest :P. HOX and LG Optimus G both have that screen size... its the perfect size for a super phone. 4.3 is the perfect size for the lower end. ideal 4.3 - 4.7 is where i would be comfortable using. My current 4" handset feels a little small.I think the maximum size a phone should get is like 4.65 inches. The Nexus I think is a perfect size.
I understand the point of a phablet though, but eh. I think 5.5 inches is WAY too big.
