Well, let the rumors start swimming as the next flagship of the High-End Lumia Phone is speculated to be known as the Microsoft Lumia 940, to be the successor of the Icon/930 (The Icon is exclusive to Verizon in the US, and Verizon stopped selling them prematurely).

Here is a link that has some interesting tidbits on what to expect MS new flagship phone may have:

  • Native Windows 10 Support (obviously)
  • 5 inch screen 1080p resolutions
  • CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 2.7 Ghz (May end up being the 810 instead)
  • GPU: Adreno 420
  • 32 GB Internal flash memory (SD card slot unknown, possible not included)
  • 3 GB of RAM (Seems overkill if it's using 1080p screen, unless it's for the camera)
  • Pureview 5 MP "Selfie" Camera
  • Pureview 24 MP Duel-Flash LED Camera (With Lumia Camera 5 software baked into the default Camera)
  • Possible USB 3.0 for fast charging
  • And of course Unified Windows Store
  • Possible release by the end of Summer (Probably September 2015, to be close with the fall release of Windows 10 everywhere)

I'll take it with a grain of salt as it seems like MS will show off a couple more Mid-range/Entry-level phones such as the Lumia 640 and the Nokia Lumia 1320 successor (Microsoft Lumia 1330) in the coming weeks for MWC. The specs are just rumored but they look very appealing, I do think it may come with an 805, but will use about the same specs for the successor of the 1520 with the only difference as that may come with the 810 and possibly a QHD screen.
