Hello everyone. So I was trying to encrypt my Galaxy Note 4. I typed in a password, however it says you needed 80% battery so I just locked my phone. There's now a password on the phone and I've tried everything. The password I set doesn't work, and I don't know what will unlock my phone. I still see updates on the lock screen, just I can't unlock my phone. If anyone knows a solution to this I would appreciate it greatly.

A factory reset would work, but you would lose everything on your phone. If there are pictures or some such on it that you can't stomach losing, you may want to keep trying to unlock it. Or, if your files are on a microSD card, try putting it in another device to see if it was also encrypted. Also, try the password that you set with errors that you may have accidently added. For instance, try replacing each character in your password one at a time with each of the characters surrounding it on the keyboard...
