I'm getting it tomorrow but I won't play it until later in the week after I beat the other Halo games. I'm on Halo 2 right now, still have ODST and 3 before I can play it.
I'm picking it up at 10:00 CST and should be playing by 11:00. But then I have to go to work for 15:00... I'm not even sure I'll be starting multiplayer by the weekend or not. Though, I'm probably going to be bigger into Spartan Ops than anything else.
so this is the DMR design that people begged 343 to give them in reach? the bloom resets so fast I don't even need to worry about timing my shots. I took out a sniper after he got the first shot at me. really hardcore there guys. :lol:
having a pistol while carrying the flag is kinda understandable, but making the player unarmed really stressed cooperation before.
Yeah, the DMR is kinda weird now that it's essentially a mid-range sniper. Don't get why people are even bothering with the BR: they do the same amount of damage at the same rate, so you might as well go with the more accurate version.
I think the pistol is a nice compromise, although i suppose the boltshot could be a bit of a balance issue. You have to be a pretty decent shot to get a kill with a pistol in Halo 4 so it's not a huge advantage, but it opens up the strategic possibilities beyond the usual Halo CTF zerg rush/turtle dichotomy.
