POS archaic host. We should get all day coverage.

I don't bother looking at the top of the scoreboard until day 3. The first two days are all about rooting for the amateurs and seniors to make the cut.
Having not heard any news from today thus far, I will go with Tiger. He's hot and seems to be in a good place in his life again. When he was happy he was great. Since he got busted, injuries and public 'ridicule' has had it's proverbial heel on his back. I thought his little GF announcement a while back was his way of saying, 'don't call it a come back'.

Hope he does, let's see if he can track down Jack. He'd be only 3 back with a win this week.
Dan Wetzel wrote a pretty entertaining article about the kid's mom. She was literally following him around the course today carrying juice boxes and snacks. She also had towels and multiple umbrellas. The caddie had offered to carry the stuff, but nope, she decided that's a mom's job.
I hope if he does miss the cut it's by more than one stroke.  That penalty they assessed him was completely inconsequential and arbitrary. Â

First time it's happened since 1995. The tour is FULL of pros with habitual slow play, but they decide to make an example out of this kid.
[quote="sbnation"]almost every round out is exceeding five hours today. Guan's round was roughly five hours and 15 minutes, so there was nothing too egregious about the pace. JML897wtf? Apparently it was because of two shots breaking the 40 second limit, the first being a warning and the second the penalty. Â I know it may have very well been by the book, but they can't just pull this rule out of their asses for the first time in 15+ years right now. Â
He shouldn't be DQ'd, the very fact that they had to rely on a viewer to catch this is ridiculous in the first place. Â That being said it's pretty remarkable, if that ball goes another foot right or another foot left there's a good chance Tiger's scorescard has a 4-stroke swing. Â Given the fact that he could he could have easily two-putted for a birdie, rather than take the triple boogie that resulted from his penalty and water hazard drop.

Yeah Bubba, how dare we enforce the rules that have been so strictly followed over the years. Between this contraversy and Augusta for whatever reason not allowing women to play for the longest time (2 female members were admitted in 2012) this tournament is becoming a joke.
The Augusta Chronicle apparently has pictures that show Tiger actually dropped his ball in the same spot?

if Tiger is even close to the top of the leaderboard by the end of the day there's going to be a shitstorm
