I'll start. I think 2k8 is going to be great because of gameplay and online seasons. Think about it, 2k has had 3 years on and off to work on this title. And their last football game (2k5) was imo the greatest football game ever. I own Madden '07 and I think its meh... I think 2k is the way to go. And if the game has Barry Sanders its a wrap.

ill be buying APF 2k8 for one reason and one reason only, GREAT GAMEPLAY you can always expect itfrom all the 2k football games and I do agree with you if they do have Barry Sanders in the game, that'll be the icing on the cake :wink:

NFL 2K5 was the greatest football game of all time, both in gameplay and presentation

Ill take amazing gameplay and realistic announcers over NFL teams any day

ill be buying madden for either xbox 360 or ps3, just cause i like madden and it should be a lot better cause APF 2k8 is coming out, i might get 2k8 if it is under 40 bucks.

ill most def. will be gettin madden (for online play and real nfl teams), and if the reviews are good and the players can be edited easily (like michel vick name being michel brick) ill get 2k for franchise cuz madden's has progression problems

madden these last two years = crap. obviously already shown more then half the people in here will change sides of the ball come fall when both games release, people just want a change from mediocrity

Wicked problems with Madden franchise. I'm on year 2019 and the defense has gotten soooooo bad! Offense is starting to decline as well. Soon even a player ranked about a 90 will be impossible to find.

Gameplay-wise Madden has always been better (even the two games on 360 with few features). I'm not a feature whore so I still enjoyed Madden 06 even with only a franchise mode (which was plenty to last me all year by the way).
I will have to agree with the poster who said it is way too early to have this thread because there has basically been nothing about either game beside the fact that they are coming out...
