With the season wrapped up the post season seedings are as follows

AFC-
#1 Denver Broncos
#2 New England Patriots
#3 Houston Texans
#4 Baltimore Ravens
#5 Indianapolis Colts
#6 Cincinatti Bengals

NFC-
#1 Atlanta Falcons
#2 San Francisco 49ers
#3 Green Bay Packers
#4 Washington Redskins
#5 Seattle Seahawks
#6 Minnesota Vikings

The schedule:

Wildcard Weekend AFC:
#6 Cincinatti Bengals @ #3 Houston Texans
#5 Indianapolis Colts @ #4 Baltimore Ravens

Wildcard Weekend NFC:
#6 Minnesota Vikings @ #3 Green Bay Packers
#5 Seattle Seahawks @ #4 Washington Redskins

Divsional Round AFC:
Higher remaining seed @ #2 New England Patriots
Lower remaining seed @ #1 Denver Broncos

Divisonal Round NFC:
Higher remaining seed @ #2 San Francisco 49ers
Lower remaining seed @ #1 Atlanta Falcons

Conference Championship Sunday (both conferences):
Lower remaining seed @ Higher remaining seed

Super Bowl:
AFC Champ vs. NFC Champ (in New Orleans)

You can make a new bracket (in a new post) weekly, however do not edit brackets you have already created after the games have begun, though editing based on an injury report, a weather report, or simply changing your mind before the game has begun is acceptable.

This is going to be a great wildcard weekend. Three rookie quarterbacks this round. I feel like any game could go either way, which makes it tough to predict.

Texans

Ravens

Packers

Seahawks

These are my picks, but it wouldn't surprise me of the Bengals, Colts, Vikings, and Redskins all win instead.

Their last super bowl was 2004, it's not like the Giants have knocked them out every year since then Plus any team that can lose to the Cardinals is not unbeatable

Packers can't run the ball. If it was snowing I'd probably take the Vikings to win.

It is going to be a low scoring game I bet. What an exhausting and emotional game for both sides in Week 17. Not to mention they have one less day to rest.

Texans over Bengals (this one is a toss up but I can't remember the last time the Bengals won a playoff game).

Ravens over Colts (another toss up really so I'll once again go for the home team).

Packers over Vikings (Peterson is awesome. Ponder isn't).

Redskins over Seahawks (upset of the weekend if you want to call it that).

Go Skins!

I'm not sure for Bengals vs Texans. After the last two games, *smh* If the Bengals win, they deserve it.

Pats over Texans (the last game wasn't even close and now it's January)

Broncos over Ravens (Ravens got destroyed by the Broncos at home)

Seahawks over Falcons (Falcons have a recent bad history in the playoffs whereas the Seahawks don't)

Packers over 49ers (both have kicker issues so I expect them both to go on 4th down. it should be close)

Playoff round results:
Monkeytoes: 4/4
Halftime- 4/4
jg4xchamp- 4/4
Tish- 4/4
myself- 4/4
36ounces- 3/4
Bobcheeseball- 3/4
Yusuke- 3/4
Seabas- 3/4

Sfkm- 2/4
Yokofox- 2/4
JML- 2/4
Nightstalker- 1/4
Silverbond- 1/4
Jeffster- 0/4

There are a couple ways I could do scoring from here on out. Either by a weighted points system where the points for each correct points are doubled from the previous round (I.E.: Wild-card round- 1 point per correct pick, divisional round- 2 points per correct pick, conference championship round 4 points per correct pick, Super Bowl 8 points for the correct pick). Or I could simply just use overall number of correct picks, i'll let you guys decide on that. Everyone is welcome to make a new post making their predictions for the divisional round (and beyond if wanted) until noon EST on Saturday. Also, at the end of the playoffs i'll score the brackets of those like myself who predicted every game in their first pre-wild card post using whatever scoring system we decide on.

Make it go up by one point, not two. Picking the SB shouldn't be worth a perfect slate in the Wildcard round and a couple Divisional round games.

So the SB would be worth four points.

I was 4/4 wildcard round, was gonna post my picks on Saturday.. but I was suspended thanks to that puss bandwagon fan. I got Broncos, Patriots, Falcons, and Packers. I really wanna pick the 'Hawks, but I got a feeling ATL will finally win a playoff game with redface.

I had picked my Bengals to carry that momentum from their streak of winning 7 out of 8 to end the regular season with that lone lose being by one point, but they let me down. Gotta give credit to the Texans, though. I had also hoped the Vikings would pull off the upset over the Packers, but I didn't really expect that to happen. I got the other games right though as I went 3/4. For the divisional round. I'd say Broncos over the Ravens (I'm hesitant on this one, though. I don't see Ray Lewis going out that way, nor do I see his teammates letting him go out that way), Packers over 49ers, Texans over the Pats, and Falcons over Seattle (also hesitant on this one).
