I see you did not watch the series. Wade can't guard Nocioni, Deng, Gordon, and Hinrich all at the same time, even if he wasn't hurt.

EDIT: Also, Shaq and Alonzo missed like 5,065 free throws. Dwyane Wade had no control over that.

wade missed about 8 free throws in game 3

possibly due to the injury

he got alot of turnovers too

thanks to the injury

Wade hit free throws in game 1 of the series (7-7), as well as game 4(3-6 in game 2, and obviously really bad in game 3); why would his misses in game 3 be related to the injury?

Also, the turnovers weren't because of the injury -- that's just a stupid excuse. The Bulls are a great defensive team, and should get the credit they deserve.

I was going to say the same thing. The bulls match up very well against them. I expect this to be an all out battle this series.

Even if Wade was completely heathy, I really could not see him winning 4 games for the Heat. Its not like this series was close and a dibilitated Wade was the only reason they lost.

The Bulls did the damn thing. Tough on defense, methodical on offense. Deng is breaking out - I've always admired his game, he gives Pierce fits more than any other swing defender in the league (C's fan here). The Pistons-Bulls series is going to be must see TV.

Well it's not '86, but the team is young and likeable all around despite the losses and injuries - they're easy to root for and Ainge has been slowly amassing a bunch of promising and talented kids, Jefferson in particular was a revelation this season. Alongside a healthy Pierce they should be markedly more competitive next year and beyond. And then there's the whole possible top 2 pick thing, the C's could be pretty interesting quicker than most folks think.

You can't be underrated if everyone knows about you and draws up defensive designs in which they designate you the main scorer smart guy...

Also, does anyone with some common sense (the key phrase there...) wanna tell me what winning a season series means in the long run?  O yeah, I forgot for a second, silly me, the team that won the season series gets magical powers granted to them from a magical fairy.

This is NOT the Miami Heat, and anyone who thinks the Bulls are gonna traipse on through against one of the best road teams in the NBA this year is out of their minds.  Sound teams win at home, good teams win on the road.  Let's see what you're really made of now Chicago:  make something happen.  Make the U.S. take notice.  This is your chance...

People are bringing up the season series fact to show that the Bulls can definitely hang with the Pistons, and that it'll be a tough series. Nobody is saying the Bulls are just gonna walk over Detroit.

JML897 is right, it'll be a tough series, but the Bulls are a team that should be able to beat the Pistons, they're riding high right now(which is a big thing for a young athletic team), they seem to have dealt with their biggest problem(they couldn't close out games, they lost a lot of games in those last minutes), and though the Pistons are a rock solid team, a fastpased gameplan would startle them.

They will win at home. I have no doubt in my mind. The only reason the bulls lost was because I was never home to watch them. Ill make sure I watch them this time since Im going to game 3 and 4.

It's the 2nd round, and that's a first in 9 years, so even if the Pistons destroy the Bulls, there still on their way up.

I honestly thought this was going to be a great series, but from the looks of it, Pistons are going to take this without a doubt. They just need one win on the road and the next home game is theirs. (yawn)

Its funny because the Pistons have become what the Lakers used to be but without the superstars.  We just built up with young guys and now no one in the East stand a chance against us.  The West on the other hand is a stronger division but we can put up a fight thats for sure.  Pistons vs. Suns = Pistons Championship.  Pistons vs. Warriors = Pistons Championsip. Pistons vs Jazz = Pistons Championship. Pistons vs Spurs = Major ?????  Last year it should have been ours but the players put out to much of that energy in the season to the point that when the playoffs came they were so dead tired that they could not even play their normal game.  Should be fun come the Championship series but these Bulls dont stand a chance.  I thought it was going to be great then saw the Pistons had a 13 point lead the other day after the first 5 min so i switched back to my tigers.

The Bulls look outmatched but as they say, the series doesn't truly start until one team loses at home. If they can't bring it in Chicago and fall down 3-0, then I'll put a fork in them.

But cocky Pistons fans should remember barely squeaking by Cleveland last year after an early series lead, it's not too late for things to get interesting.

the series hasnt even gone back to chicago yet and chicago had the best home court record in the league so I wouldnt say its over yet but most likely detroit will take it in 5 or 6. Either way suns or spurs are gonna take it all

All I can say is that in order for the Bulls to stay alive in the series, they really need to win the next 2 games, or they are out, unless they really step up their game. Just so you know, I plan to cheer for Detriot, since Chicago got rid of Miami.

Are you still going to be saying that when they win the championship? Detroit doesn't need a superstar, they are one of the most well balanced teams in the NBA.

Things are definitely getting interesting, with the Bulls pulling to 3-2 with the series going back to Chicago. My hopes still aren't that high, but now at least there's some hope.

If only they didn't blow that huge lead in game 3...:(

I think skiles finally seen what he was doing wrong through the first three games, and now he is correcting them. Good to see Bulls win again with so much doubt against them.
