Would your life be a lot more depressing without video games?

I mean, do video games fill the empty void you feel in your life?? Are video games all you live for??? I am like that. r u?

im pretty sure if videogames didn't exist people would have more time and use it productively and we would have cured cancer and end world hunger, oh well back to getting my headshots and talking smack 8)

Well i may actually try to have had a real social life in hs. Instead of knowing people on xbl and the internet. Better then most of friends

Gaming really has helped me in times in my life

Gaming is something that I certainly cherish. I would like to think that if it didn't exist I would have no problem filling the gap but I am very happy it's around!

honestly, I'd probably be a lot more productive and happy without it, [sigh] but damn they're still pretty fun, hopefully if I make it to a retirement home at a ripe old age they've ones for old school gamers kicking it back and playing the latest and greatest of gaming entertainment, and hopefully pot is legal by then which any old kook should be eligable for

TC, how dare you assume our lives are depressing already! Do you think we're all social outcasts, and live unfulfilled lives just because we play video games?

Anyways... if gaming wasn't in my life I'd probably spend more time on another hobby. I don't find socializing all that fun or engaging so I wouldn't do too many outdoor activities.

Well I can't work due to an illness and gaming is a nice way for me to escape, and often I'm too tired to do anything else so yeah I'd say I'd mope around a lot more than I already do if I didn't play video games.

I certainly love games and I am planning to have a career in the industry but if they vanished or never existed I think I would move on quite quickly. Though there would be a tear in my eye!

I don't know about more depressing, but it would certainly be a lot more boring. Gaming is simply my favorite form of entertainment. More so than movies, music or books.
