A place to go buy strategy guides old and new. I just hate it that I can no longer buy some strategy guides because retailers don't sell to many.

thats actually a very good idea, but i think it would be more successful as an online store rather than a regular store.

True. Online would be better. I was very disappointed with Brady Games online strategy guide store. Haven't checked Prima yet

Interesting idea but i doubt it would make much business. People just seem to much rather use Gamefaqs or some other online walkthroughs. I have not bought a strategy guy since Perfect Dark on the N64

Prima has way more books online compared to Brady Games. Prima even has their James Bond Agent Under Fire still available to purchase

Yeah with all the online walkthroughs out now, its not really worth it to go buy strategy guides any more unless you like collecting them or something.

I haven't gotten one since zelda majora's mask... everything else I looked up online or figured out for myself. If you were going to do one, I'd be sure to make it an online store, and not really a primary job. Just something to do on the side for a little extra cash, ya know?

The internet really just annihilates most physical guides for video games. Though, some people prefer paperback to trying to ask questions on message boards or trying to read a faq on gamefaqs(if they're aware of the site).

It would be pointless as most people who know how to use the internet can just look up info on the internet, which has multiple viewpoints and more up to date information.

As everyone else seems to be saying, it wouldn't be a great business because it's right there on (GameFaqs) the Internet.

If only stores like GameStop, Babbage's, EBX....had larger buildings, there wsould be enough space for some guides. Another thing that'll be nice would be finding strategy guides at local book stores. Maybe that isn't a good idea if videogame stores and bookstores made some space for more guides. But the idea isn't so bad either.

Well, the fact that you can get tips, wakthroughs, etc, from places like gamefaqs for free (even on really old games), the strategy guide is becoming obsolete.

From a business perspective, yes, it would be the dumbest idea ever
