Well of course there are delays, this is Blizzard we're talking about.

As for E3 they probably didn't feel it was neccessary. They've already revealed just about everything at their personal WWI events.

Blizzard (as well as Activision) announced long ago that they were leaving the ESA and wouldn't attend e3. Blizzconn is in October so we should have plenty new info by then.

It's Blizzard. Some common terms for releases/patches include "when it's done" and "soon". The latter has been known to cause pages of angry rants on the WoW forums.

Maybe if so called fans of Blizzard realized they are not part of e3 anymore, been known for months. Blizz Con is weeks away in August still should be more info there. When Diablo 3 got announced also was new info and gameplay.

StarCraft still blows away any game put out this gen.

As people have stated Blizzard had their own event not even a month ahead of E3 (the World Wide Invitation 2008 in Paris) I doubt anything new was done in a month, besides no release date was ever available for Starcraft II (it will be done when it's done). E3 is not the show it used to be and a company like Blizzard have always relied on their own show.
