Why hate for WWII games

im gonna go pay my respects by playing capture the flag.

because there's too damn many of them.

And playing these games doesn't honour the vets :|

yup. i'll think of them as i'm playing as a soldier glamourizing the hellish battles that they had to endure in real life.

Whenever I start feeling bad I just go play Halo. The marines dying in that game havent even been born yet so it's all good.:D

I feel bad because I see them die in crappy games.

These are fun games, but there are too many and the plot is too repetitive. Using something like the Vietnam War or like an alternate future where the Cold War actually became a nuclear war (As a game, of course)... Now THAT would be interesting.

If it's as good as the COD series (even the bastard child #3), I'm not sick of it.

The reason WWII shooters get a bad name is that bad games copy good ones, and the COD series has probably been the most consistently good FPS series (to copy) this generation.
