Who will win game of the year?

This is a big question especially with so many great games coming out in 2008 but who do u think will win the ultimate prize of game of the year?

i reckon mayb GTA4, Far Cry 2, or Metal Gear Solid 4.

But there are some many other great games it soo hard to tell?

Any ideas?

Well FC2 isnt even out yet so theres no way to gage on how good itll really be.

From what I understand about GTA4 is that it had way too many badly implemented features for it to win GotY.

MG4, even though I havent played it, from the reactions Ive seen, I can easily see it being a contender for GotY.

Honestly its too early to tell, weve still got alot of good games still due out later this year. Its too soon to be talking about GotY.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is an amazing game but the ending is too disappointing and there are way too many cutscenes breaking up the gameplay for it to be GoTY.

My guess is that even if they don't deserve it, a Blizzard game will get game of the year, probably Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3. Blizzard has just established itself as one of the biggest supergiants in the gaming industry.

Absolutely no way. I respect that you think that it will be a good game, but L4D winning GOTY will be a sure sign that hell has had a sudden cold spell.

As of now I would say MGS4, but it's too early to tell at the moment. I for one expect big things from Fallout 3.
