I lost respect for Jeff when he did the review of Kane and Lynch. I'm not defending the game, it just seemed like he was in a bad mood. They even had to censor some of his language. None the less, my favorite is Greg Kasavin.

I don't really put a whole ton of stock in Gamespot's reviews since the whole Kane and Lynch / Gerstmann thing. I like this site's forums though. :P

I get game. I find out game isn't as good as it appeared to be. I wasted money.

'Greg Kasavin' always presented interesting video reviews due to the fact that he was passionate about gaming, Before leaving 'Gamespot' for deeper involvement indeveloping certain titles..

These days it seems reviews are either rushed, repeated or just simply written by individuals with no passion for the title they are trying to present to the audience..

Am I the only gamer who's sick of reviewers awarding games low gamescores simply due to the fact that the sequel is compared to the original ? (how ever old the original)

Personally I don't trust a word reviewers tell us on sites like this anymore, especially when certain reviewers openly admit titles like 'G.T 4' have problems/ flaws((BUT)) then later award it with 10 out of 10 !!!??? Which usually leads to gamers like myself questioning the actual review, which usually leads to further questions of trust, truth and possible corruption within the site !

Reviews that contain wrong facts don't help either !

lol

If your responsible for a review, at least finish the damn game ! We do !!

How many titles have you played which have made you think that the review was either a paid review ?

Alex Navarro, Ryan Davis, Jeff Gerstmann, Brad Shoemaker, and Greg Kasavin. I don't even know who any of the reviewers are today except for Kevin VanOrd who does a fine job.

I disagree. Roughly 65% of the player reviews are one or two paragraphs, and only "10 to 20 hours" selected. You don't finish RPGs in 10 hours, for example.:)

Well, don`t really know who is my favourite, but my vote for worst reviewer goes to Brett Todd. Reason: He said that Still Life 2 is better then original. Quote: "Still Life 2 is actually a better game than its four-year-old predecessor. It remains a strongly traditional adventure loaded with formulaic puzzles that feel a bit clunky in this day and age, but the plot is now at least more emotionally involving and offers a real conclusion." No comment.
