Mario Kart - You can choose from SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii or an arcade system. Super Mario - Choose from NES, SNES or Wii. Firstly Mario Kart. I've tried it on all 4 consoles, and although N64 will always hold a special place in my heart, I think the Gamecube has nailed this one. The combination of Graphics, controls, courses, obstacles and characters is the best out of each. Mario - I think I like playing this the most on the SNES. The colourful fun graphics, sounds and vintage feeling, but slightly more up to date than the NES, and having all 3 games in one win it for me (Super Mario All Stars). I like the N64 version too though, although the introduction to 3D can be a bit of a dangerous tightrope walk. That said I LOVE Super Mario Bros Wii and I'm on World 2-4 as we speak. I forgot how much more frustrating Mario was than Sonic.

I would say for the Mario Kart series I would have to go with Super Mario Kart (SNES)
for the Super Mario Bros. series I would have to go with SNES (Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario World, & Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island" FOR...THE...WIN!!! a great topic!:)
And out of those options, Wii for platforming Mario, because of New Super Mario Bros. But My favorite would actually be DS, With Super Mario 64 DS, and new Super Mario Bros.
Kart- Wii is the best though 64 is my favorite. Oh, in your topic we don't include N64, so Wii wins. Good for it :P Super Mario- With Galaxy 1 and 2 combined, that is my favorite, though Super Mario Bros 1 and 3 are very close.
A Super mario game (Platformer) No contest I still have My Super Nintendo and Supermario All Stars and Super Mario World.
For a Mario kart game. I'd go with the Gamecube and Super Mario Double Dash, Or the Wii would also work for that as well. (Plus Mario Kart wii & mario kart 64/Mario kart from the virtual Console download store.
My favorite Mario Kart was Double Dash for the Cube.
Favorite console for Super Mario was the SNES seeing as I could play every NES Mario with All Stars as well as Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island.
Agree with you completely. I also enjoyed Mario Kart Wii alot too.
Unfortunately I don't have a Wii so I've never played it. My sister owns it so I'll have to get over there for a little four way split screen one of these days. I think that Kart keeps getting better.
For Mario Kart I'll say the N64 was my favorite. For Super Mario Bros. I'll say the NES considering SMB1/Duckhunt was the first game I ever owned and played andSMB 2 and SMB3 are my favorite out of the franchise.
