When/are you going to stop playing video games and why?

When/are you going to stop playing video games and why? I'm thinking about stop playing video games since my ps3 broke and I don't use my psp any more so I think it's a good time to stop, and move on with my life, not that I hated playing vids, and still will every now and then at a friends house. Are currently not playing any games? How old are you too. btw, I'm 17 too. I'm just wondering that's all.

I'm never going to stop playing games...unless I suddenly have no money and can't afford to lol. I'm 20 and I want to play gamesuntil I'm like 60 :P If you ask me, you're too young to stop playing games, but I suppose you'll still get your fix at your mate's house :D

i'm 18 but i think in future my childeren will seat behind me while i'm playin ps3 online....

I'm 27 now and been playing video games from when I was 5 (I think). There are only a few reasons I would ever stop playing:

1. I die. Can't do much of anything when you're dead.

2. There are no more good games being made.

3. All developers stop making games. If this ever happens, it will be a sad day indeed :( (unless No.2 happens first).

Gaming has become more than a hobby for me, it is now a passion and way of life. Gaming does not interfere with other aspects of my life such as socialising, working and basically everything else, so i feel no need to predict when or where I will stop playing. I probably won't stop gaming unless the industry dies and there is little chance of that happening within my life tme. Tc, your age shows in the immaturity of your first comment. Never if I can help it. I may systems if graphics get too realistic and whatever, but I'll stick with my systems I have now as long as I can.

I'll only quit gaming if niche and single player RPG/platformer games are not being made and only FPS online multiplayer games are all that are supported. I don't think that will ever happen though, thank GOD.

I am 29, and the first game I remember playing was Haunted House on the Atari 2600 when I was somewhere around 3-4. So....I am going to have to say I will stop when I'm dead. Or they just can't create captivating games any more.

NEVEH!!Ive been playing games since i saw pinbal games in arcades..Was like 6..Man i remember playing my atarti..Before that it was my matel football game man i miss that thing..Had that old baseball game that you can hook up an play some one else if they had the same thing.Im 42 and still enjoying games..Never took a break either..Im not just into one genre unlike some people who just play cod..Im into most games..Cept like zoo tycoon though my little cousin had it and even tried it..Think its better entertainment than any thing on tv..Specially now since my smallvill was cancled..Now just have games of throwns to look forward to ah yes an empire on hbo..

I hope I never stop playing games. I did stop playing games for a while when I was about 16 and then started again at about 17-18. I needed the money at 16 so I sold my PS2 & all the PS1/2 games that are now worth tons, I was also forced to sell my DDR games & dancing mats, so that also made me want to sell. It put me off games and I avoided them, because of the sadness and regret that I felt in selling them, but I had no choice really. Then I got back into them and boy am I glad. I hope to die before I'm 30 so I guess I'll stop playing when I die, I've got 10 years left!!!! Booooo..

I stopped playing games this afternoon about 5.00pm to have my dinner n go shopping.. But will start playing once again about 11.pm this evening..I've no plans to stop playing games completely, get far far too much enjoyment from gaming!

Haven't planned to any time soon. Nothing's making me want to at the moment.

It'll be the day when there's literally no game I'm looking forward to. It's more fun for me to ride the hype train and talk about fond memories, and I don't play games on a whim.
