whats the most hipster game out there?

what video game do you think a lot of hipsters play? ......do hipsters even play video games?

Um... anything that got fewer than half a million sales I guess.

Probably games like Snakes of Avalon (Google that ****) and Rougelikes. what I mean is that for them being indie its not good enough., they have to be difficult to understand and free too. They are also into "importing" Japanese games too, Specially Dreamcast's, and by importing I mean pirating and "fixing" them with english patches.

My guess is that most hipsters don't even play video games... Thought they were more into weird music and literature.

I'd list a couple of games, but talking about them on a public forum would immediately cause hipsters worldwide to drop them for being too mainstream.

Wouldn't that be more of a nerd? There's this one game shop I go to from time to time, where you can get old games and systems... I see people buying things like the NES, but they honestly don't meet the hipster stereotype (at least what I've heard). They look like normal gamers to me...

A more recent hipster game would probably be Catherine.

Catherine is pretty hot btw, both of them.

Anything that was released before the year 2000. Maybe 2001, but that'd be pushing it for them. They don't touch anything new and think they're cool for being "old school."

Hipsters probably like the play the Atari Jaguar and the Phillips CDI.

Right now it would be Xenoblade, right? The amount of fuzz on these boards for a game that Nintendo doesen't even want to release in NA... thats gotta be a hipster thing.

The biggest hipster gaming moment I ever had was when I pulled out my 3DS to show off some of my music software (Korg DS-10 and some DSiWare Titles) at a noise show (noise music is hipster ground zero) and some other guy there had Korg DS-10 too. So maybe hipsters don't play games but they use their consoles to make music... People seemed to get a kick out of 3D Excite Bike though.
