what video game do you think a lot of hipsters play? ......do hipsters even play video games?

Um... anything that got fewer than half a million sales I guess.
Never understood the thought process behind being a hipster.
blood, galerians probably the only ones i can consider good but what would be the point in being a hipster in video games? almasdeathchild
Because mainstream games are too mainstream.
Probably games like Snakes of Avalon (Google that ****) and Rougelikes. what I mean is that for them being indie its not good enough., they have to be difficult to understand and free too. They are also into "importing" Japanese games too, Specially Dreamcast's, and by importing I mean pirating and "fixing" them with english patches.
Braid, Portal, Amnesia, Ico, Shadow Of The Collosus and gneerally most popular idie games that are extremely overated.GodModeEnabledThese plus Demon's Souls and Vanquish
My guess is that most hipsters don't even play video games... Thought they were more into weird music and literature.
Hipsters probably play a lot of the old school games, does not touch anything thats new.UprootedDreamer
This.
Usually when I run into hipsters, they are talking about gaming on an NES/SNES. Sometimes an N64.
I had that game. It sucked. No pun intended.Games that no1 has heard of.. like 'Mr. Mosquito'.. Damn hipsters.

It'd have to be something playable on either their iPhones or MacBooks.
I'd list a couple of games, but talking about them on a public forum would immediately cause hipsters worldwide to drop them for being too mainstream.

Wouldn't that be more of a nerd? There's this one game shop I go to from time to time, where you can get old games and systems... I see people buying things like the NES, but they honestly don't meet the hipster stereotype (at least what I've heard). They look like normal gamers to me...
[QUOTE="Kocelot"]I had that game. It sucked. No pun intended. Hahaha.. That was good. I would say Portal. I run into so many guys in real life saying the Cake is a lie, and then when someone says "what?" they just go "Oh you wouldn't understand! It's from a game you probably haven't heard of.." I kid you not, that is what they say. It's aggravating that they fit the clique so much..Games that no1 has heard of.. like 'Mr. Mosquito'.. Damn hipsters.

The biggest hipster gaming moment I ever had was when I pulled out my 3DS to show off some of my music software (Korg DS-10 and some DSiWare Titles) at a noise show (noise music is hipster ground zero) and some other guy there had Korg DS-10 too. So maybe hipsters don't play games but they use their consoles to make music... People seemed to get a kick out of 3D Excite Bike though.
