Nothing beats cruising around listening to that 80's music!

Yeah.. i love 80's music, and the commentary in-betwen songs was absolutely hilarious, i use to stay driving in one car listening to Flash FM for good amounts of time.
Even though i prefer SA in terms of everything, i have to give it to VC for its story(Scarface is one of my faves) and radio stations.
But SA radio stations come in a close second, i also love rap, and some of that 90's rap (including Eazy E) was fantastic.
totally agree, in the rest of them i listen to 2 or 3 stations, in vice city i listened to every single one until it looped at least once.
deeee-gen-it-tronnnnnn!
Have to agree, the music was great. So many classic 80s tracks and references.
SA wasn't quite as good in my books since they added in all the silly RPG elements/mini-games in an attempt to "go beyond" what modern GTA games do best (drive around, blow stuff up). Articulated trailers was a definite plus in my book \o\.
GTA: Vice City is the best GTA full stop, in my opinion, that's not to say San Andreas and IV aren't fun, just not as fun.

Agreed. I just loved the look of Vice City..the colors and setting. Great!
i did enjoy the music in that game, but i think at least on my original xbox i haven't played it in a while so i'm sorry if i'm wrong but isn't there a station in vice city that you can listen to music that is stored on your xbox? that is what makes it the best for me, although i am unaware if they other gta games can do the same if so they can be as good as you want. however, the vice city sound track really fit the theme of the game really well.
i grew up in the 90's... but **** yeah, vice city had the best soundtrack. i still feel nostalgic when i think about being in high school and driving around ingame, shooting stuff up to the upbeat 80's music. and it had the best story too, fun and violent...a perfect fit for its medium.
gta 4's soundtrack was... godawful...
IV's was strangely weak, hell I can't think of any songs in the game so obviously not much worth remembering. Except 1979, which is a phenomenal song. Anyways, I can definitely dig VC having the best soundtrack, though I think it's kinda a toss up between that and SA. III was good, but all the stuff was underground stuff (some of it made specifically for the game I think). In terms of overall package though: SA > VC > III > IV Though I like them all, but I do prefer the sunny, warm settings of SA and VC to dreary Liberty City.i grew up in the 90's... but **** yeah, vice city had the best soundtrack. i still feel nostalgic when i think about being in high school and driving around ingame, shooting stuff up to the upbeat 80's music. and it had the best story too, fun and violent...a perfect fit for its medium.
