Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend is Real, Proof. Jack Black included

Of course it's real, Vivendi has been showing this behind closed doors for some time now, along with that Prototype trailer. It's a cartoony hack and slash with Jack Black as the protagonist. From what I saw at a local press event, it was all about Jack Black acting like some heavy metal Conan. Looks very funny. Some shades of Dynasty Warriors in there.

Well, some of us don't go to press events. It says "World Exclusive" so, even though other media outlets knew about it, they weren't allowed to tell us until Game Informer did.

Awesome concept. Hopefully with the JB, Tim Schafer and Double Fine might actually catch a break and crack that 10 000+ copies sold milestone:P

Honestly, I feel sad about this. It's as if Tim Schafer's work doesn't get the recognition it deserves until they get a celebretity like Jack Black to play as the protagonist.stafax

If it makes you feel any better, the protagonist kind of looks like Tim :P

I don't know about this game. Jack Black's funny and cool but the game is uninteresting to me.

It's kind of a corny concept if you ask me. Maybe it could be fun, but until I see reviews and actually play it myself, I won't think too much of it.

I just hope Jack Black doesn't bring down the game. No offense, but I've never thought that he was that great.doomsoth

Yeah I'm of this opinion myself. Jack Black is pretty overrated. I don't really see him making a game good. If the game is good and his name brings attention to it, that's all well and good. I just hope he doesn't have any creative input on the game.

This game has perhaps the coolest idea for a story I've seen in a game for quite some time.

What can I say? DO WANT. I hope y'all do the same...
