Admittedly, its one of the nicer problems to have...

Who here has so many games that they spend more time choosing which one to play next than actually playing them?

Ive been dithering for days over whether to go for the older GRAW2 or maybe bioshock 2 or dead space. If I had started it back then I would have been on 700 achievement points by now and probably completed it.

Indecision sucks...

Sometimes I get this problem especially whenI have beaten all my games. The worst is when I get too ahead of myself and buy like three games at a time. ThenI have these new games and am very indecisive about what to play.

Try choosing out of 40 or 50 games. Just when I think Ive decided on one my eyes glance to another and I start to wonder about that. It sounds stupid and is totally pschological but is a real problem!

LOL, I have this EXACT same problem! A few years ago, I went on a spending rampage and bought a bunch of PS2 and a few Xbox games because they were pretty cheap by now. Now, I have about 50 games, and I have trouble deciding which ones I want to play. I try to find greatest PS2 games of all time lists and play them in that order. Or...I'll play them in the order of their Gamerankings rating. But like you, I think I spend more time deciding which game to play than actually playing the games themselves.

Pick one, finish it, then go to the next. Having played all those I'd go with Bioshock, then DS, then GRAW2.

Yup, I have that issue nearly all the time. Unless a great game comes out, I try to play a game from my backlog which averages around 37 games at any given time.

I discovered this problem a couple years back. I only buy genre-defying games or games from my favorite developers now. Once you've figured out what you like you can narrow the selection of games quite a bit.

It gets difficult when you have over 100 games. Good thing is I never get bored of games.

Im actually quite glad Im not the only one with this deciding problem!

In the end I decided to go for Tomb Raider Underworld. I weighed up the choices and eliminated the following games:

1) Bioshock 2 - its is still in its special edition wrapping and I really dont want to break into it yet!

2) GRAW 2 - looking REALLY dated now. As Ive just come off uncharted 2 recently, I will save this one when my graphics expectations are lower!

3) Dead Space - Too scary for now, I need to man up a bit before I play this

Just started playing Tomb Raider and I have to say its a really refreshing change. The first few 'cave' and water levels are really quite breathtaking and gripping.

I have about 470 Xbox games... I see your problem. Usually, I feel like a particular genre, and stick with that. Like, lately I've been working on platformers for some reason, but I'm starting to feel the urge for FPS.

This used to be the problem for me with PS2. I bought 14 games in 2 weeks. Didn't know what to play. Then I got a PS3 which solved the problem because I can't be bothered to plug my PS2 back in. I'm now VERY picky with my PS3 games because they cost £40.

Well, have that problem since I came across a lot of deals lately. I've recently bought Hitman Blood Money, Persona 4, God Hand, Red Dead Redemption (which I've completed), Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Super Street Fighter IV and a fight pad for Street Fighter IV in the past four weeks. This is a bit different from a few months before when I didn't have a part time job so I'd buy a new game about once a month.

I need to hold off on game shopping for a while.

I have that at the moment, because I have my first SMT game lined up and can't foresee myself having a lot of time to spend on it.

I buy games on sale generally, so I tend to buy like, 2 or 3 at a time and find it difficult to make time to beat them. Exceptions being FPS games because they're (admittedly sometimes too) short so I don't feel cheated that the game I payed $30AUS for is over after 3 weeks that I bought it. I'm also horrible at beating rpg games. I enjoy them a lot but I keep getting distracted. I am a flawed gamer :P

my problem is I literally don't have the time ATM to play too many games, what with work and exams and socialising. there's been a couple of new releases I really want, so I reckon I'll hold off for now and then just go crazy when I finally have some decent free time.

of course, if you wanna send some of those extra games to me, I won't put up a fight.

I have PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. I never bother with the Wii. I used to keep my games library to about 10-15 games at all times. But, now my collection has blown out and I have this problem more frequently haha.

Of the latest games I have RDR, Alan Wake, UFC 2010, Blur and Alpha Protocol. I was looking forward to Alan Wake the most but most of my game time is going to AlphaProtocol which is a game I really didn't anticipate and I mix it upby playing some GRID.

I really do love having games on hand that cover all the big genres so when I am in the mood for a particular genre I have a few choiceson hand to get my fix.I just love gaming!

WhoaI just realised that I haven't touched Just Cause 2 for a few now!So many games want my attention!!!

Ha the reason I dont get ride of them is because I have this father to son idea that I will pass down all of my gaming investments to my children. I want them in 20 years time (when everything is in 3D and 4000p or something) to play a bit of 720p 2D unchartered and see where we came from...

Common problem. I'm pacing myself and will finish Alan Wake & FF13 (or at least get nearer to the end) before I buy any more games. I'm also buying a Wii this month or next, luckily the next few months look relatively slow.

Well, for me, I usually pick up the latest high-profile game (right now, MNR, but SMG2 is next) on release date, play it to death, then dig into my backlog of about 14 different PS3 games. It is SUCH a hard choice, becaue I've got InFamous, Uncharted 2, GRAW2, Bad Company 1, Crack In Time, Burnout Paradise, etc...

gah, I'll just stick with MNR until I have enough for SMG2.

Well I have really a lot of games, but mostly have a few installed on my PC. The other games' saves are here so if I feel urge to play them I just insert the CD/DVD. If I don't know what to play - I simply launch CS: Source :)

I always say I have too many games, but I just do because I spend so much time on one game at once, and usually pick up games many years after I first get them.

Anyway I think too many games is better than too few :D

Exactly my problem. Furthermore, I absolutely have to nail at least 700 achievement points on each (assuming xbox 360) if I am to be satisfied I beat it. Even if I finish the game, less than 700 = more time needed!
