There's a rumor that Bethesta may offer an edited, "drug-free version" to retailers in au, but that's only a rumor... So hang in there for some more reliable news. But I wouldn't count it out yet "mate"!
I remember reading somewhere that the australia gaming board (or w/e it's called) banned the game from being sold or something like that. I haven't heard any news of Bethesda releasing a different version...although with Fallout 3 I don't think I'd want any watered-down gameplay.
