Okay, maybe not that bad but it's pretty bad I think.

Capcom can do better than this. Look ar Ryu's mug. He looks like he's constipated or has a very bad case of hemoroids!

I wonder what tune Chun Li is whistling.DJ_Lae
What are you talking about? She's making a kissy face at me! ;)
I like Chun Li's box art. :) Ryu's is pretty ugly, though.
To be honest, I don't care what box art Capcom uses just as long as they make a Wii version. *crosses fingers*

Yea, Ryu looks constipated and like he's been on the toilet for two hours. Chun Li has this, "You want some!?" look. Weird.
I actually really like the Chun-Li one, it looks pretty sick.
The Ryu one on the other hand is ugly. Wth is up with his face?
I'm surprised they don't have more covers with different characters. Ken and Ryu should be on there together as the main image.
It should be Ken not Chun-Li as the 2nd cover. Ken is the 2nd main character of the SF universe. I hate it when Capcom undermines him like this. Him and Ryu are the originals.
I have nothing against Chun-Li, but they're only putting her on the cover because of that major flop-in-the-making new SF movie coming out.I think Capcom said they are releasing the game to coincide with the movie, which is stupid because the movie will only make Street Fighter look worse not better. What good is a SF movie with no Ryu or Ken in it?!:? And you know what the filmmakers excuse is? We're holding back Ryu and Ken for the sequels!:lol::lol:
Sometimes Hollywood are idiots.
Wait, are they actually releasing both of these? Are we really seeing an instance of variant covers in gaming now?DarkCatalystEh, it's been done before. See Warcraft III. The SFIV boxart could definitely be better, but at least it isn't anything like the old SNES SF stuff. EDIT: Is this art legit? I don't really trust Kotaku as a valid news source.

Ah, that's right, and Guild Wars now that I think about it. See how much attention I give the PC side?
Actually, I think the one with Chun Li looks pretty hot.....
If only she looked like that in the actual game instead of that "man-hands" model.
After looking around, I found the SNES Street fighter 2 cover box that makes those look like friggin' masterpieces......
CAUTION: Your eyes will burn!

Yes they are. These images are straight from the official website www.streetfighter.com; go and take a look for yourself.
Yeah, I checked out the SF site yesterday. My comment about Kotaku still stands, though.Wait, are they actually releasing both of these? Are we really seeing an instance of variant covers in gaming now?DarkCatalystEU left, NA right

Weird. So maybe Ken will be on the Japanese box, with Ryu and Chunli on the bottom? Makes sense given the two boxes here.
One thing I also noticed, on the Chunli box, it's more colorful overall. Ryu looks slightly discolored while Ken and Chunli on the bottom are nearly monochrome (clearly a nod to the teaser trailer from nearly a year ago). On the Chunli box, it looks like her with minimal SFIV-ish changes, while Ryu and Ken are in full color there. The blue background helps, too.
I do like Ryu's whirlwind effect on the Shinkuu-Hadouken though. That was a nice touch perfect for cover artwork.
