I know Saints Row 3 came out quite a long time from now but I didn't play it because for me it seemed a bit too unrealistic but now that I'm waiting for GTA V, I didn't have to play and to be honest it is really fun. Anyway, whenever I drive sometimes it feels live I drive into an invisible wall and if I keep accelerating I just freeze into the sitting position and i can't do anything apart from re-loading the game. Also if I try to walk around it it still does the same thing. I play on PS3 by the way. Thanks.
it feels like like i bump into an invisible wall then the car disappears, but the character still is in the sitting position and I can't move I can't do anything apart from reloading the game. Also, I found that if when I hit the 'wall' and stop, then reverse and walk towards it it happens the same thing but this time in a standing position.

Then it's patched already. I read somewhere this may happen if you have cheats activated. Check if you have any of them on. Also try wearing a different set of clothes that's not a preset outfit
I did and it still happened. And no I don't have cheats on. I noticed that it happens when you try to go from the island where the crib is to others. Earlier it happened when I was trying to go o the island to the left and I had to use the other bridge at the top to get there.

Technobabble alert: When you leave an island and drive on a bridge, the game unloads all objects from the one you're leaving and loads the ones of the one you're going to. It's possible you're somehow "outrunning" the loading process, so the system makes a mistake and unloads your car as well. You may want to try driving more slowly on bridges and see if the problem persists. No need to go to a crawl, just keep the speed limit and see if it happens again.
I drove slowly and it didn't happen however, I started driving fast around the island but as soon as I got near the bridge it happened again. So what I do now is drive fast but when I get to a bridge I slow down. Is there a way to fix this because it gets quite annoying, wait if you are being chased by the police or something? Thanks

Thanks It's as I thought then. Try flying along a bridge with a jet and see what happens.
Sorry for the really late reply -I haven't played for a few days. I tried and also with a helicopter and nothing happened. Since I slow down at the bridges, it doesn't happen anymore.

Problem identified then. What model of PS3 do you play on? Fat, slim, ultra slim?
O well, thanks anyway because since I started slowing down at the bridge, it hasn't happened again. Maybe it was because I like free roaming but I was at the beginning of the game so maybe something went wrong and didn't download all objects and as I done a few more missions maybe it repaired itself or something like that.Thanks anyway for the support. :D
