It is a mushroom cloud shaped like a clown's head with a PS3 logo in the bottom corner.  It could be anything I suppose, but it screams Twisted Metal to me.

If it is indeed a brand-new Twisted Metal then perhaps it was too early in development to be shown at E3.

besides being a clown, it doesn't resemble sweet tooth at all unless they are redesigning him again... anyways Sony would be crazy not to order a Twisted Metal sequel and i'd buy a PS3 for this game alone.

Cool. I hope the next Twisted Metal borrows more from Black than Head On in terms of art direction. Head On's level design was fine (though the last boss was extremely annoying) and it pulled off a few technical tricks even Black didn't accomplish but the art style of Head-On was vanilla.

I would do pretty much anything to get a chance to play an Interstate '76 remake... imagine Motorstorm graphics with musclecars, rocket launchers, and funk.  You can't go wrong.

Perhapes Jaffe is secretly working on Twisted Metal Black 2, at his new studio. Wishful thinking I know. Sony has to be making a new TM game, It would be stupid not to, with all the fans that want a new TM.

Carmageddon... those were some good times.  I hate to suggest EA handling any game franchise that I like, but I bet the guys at Criterion could make an excellent Carmageddon.
