Okami. Will there ever be another game like it?

I don't think so. Okami was so original that it's hard for any other game to beat it. It is, for me, one the best adventure games I have ever played.

I'm playing Okami now and it is definitely one of my favorite games ever. Everything about the game is amazing to me and I can't get enough.

I would like to think that there will another Okami some time in the near future. If we don't get an Okami 2 then I'm sure another epic adventure game will come around and wow us just as much as this game did.

I emailed Capcom a while back about how Clover had been disbanded and asked "What will become of Okami?"

I got a reply stating "Whilst Clover studios has been disbanded, Capcom still holds the rights to Okami, and as such a sequel could still be possible, although I have no further information at this time."

I would literally c*m in my pants if I heard this game was getting an official sequel O.o

If they didnt make any more Okami games/sequals then no, there will probally never be another game like Okami...

I'm still waiting for the next Grim Fandango....10 years running now.

In all fairness, the feeling of avoiding creature fights, super combo attacks, and the engaging platforming was really fresh. Just about as fresh as Psychonauts, but a lot more beautiful.

Capcom finally got around to releasing a new Bionic Commando, so i feel that there will be another Okami. Just make sure to buy the Wii version if you own one, this game needs all the help it can get.
