You realize that that article is from 2004, right? There were rumours back then about a new Sega/Sammy console - actually it was based on pure speculation about Sammy wanting to release a console after acquiring Sega just because Sammy are in the arcade hardware business - but we all knew that it wasn't going to happen.

There will be no more Sega consoles.
