One of my friends sold one for over $800.

Sony said they'll be in available supply for Christmas, people should just be patient. Ah well, their money.

I get you want a ps4 but why spend a ton of cash.... people are really stupid sometimes.

I could relate if there were any must play games already available, but as of now it seems like a waste of money to pay up to 200% for a PS4.

Perhaps, but paying above asking price for a console is still insane.

Its not like there is some crazy good game which is only out for that console.

True even tho there was a bigger leap in graphics and performance from ps1 to ps2 and the wii had its motion controller.

Everyone acts like this is a surprise. I have a friend that whenever a new console is launched, he gets a couple. One for himself, then usually 2 or 3 he sells on Ebay and his plan is the profit he makes pays for the one he keeps. People went nuts with it, when the PS3 launched namely due to Sony only being able to release a limited amount. I really don't get spending more than the retail price for a console but people blow money on crazy stuff all the time.
