I have a PS3 and am trying to decide which game to buy. I don't want to hear about how awesome the graphics are or about single player modes. I am mainly concerned with local 2-player mode. I want a game that friends will have fun playing when they come over (and that won't be too frustrating for them to learn).
If you don't want it to be frustrating to learn either works. If you want to play a realistic baseball game with your friend(s) then MLB 09 the show is your game. If you want a baseball game where its unrealistic and everyone is so buff that the worst hitter in baseball could hit a home run then The Bigs 2 is for you. I prefer MLB 09
