Wow that's a hard question.....I'd have to say a toss up between Final Fantasy X and Earthbound. I love both games, Final Fantasy X for it's story and Blitzball, and Earthbound for everything that Earthbound is. And the Happy Happyist Cult,.....Go Purple!
Not considered a "legacy game" Burnout Paradise. A legacy game though....between Resident Evil 4, God of War 2, and Burnout Revenge, oh and Midnight Club Dub Edition Remix...that's tough to pick only one though...

FFX is got be in my top 5 but come on blitzball? Playing blitzball for the rest of my life sounds a little like hell.
If it has to be legacy then I'd like to play an mmo like W.O.W, and if thats not allowed then then morrowind.
Draken the Ancient Gates for PS2. I think I've played through it about 6 times. Started a 7th time until my Onimusha Demon Seige arrived yesterday. I just love that game, the whole thing just feels like I'm home :D
Any The Sims game. You can spend hours on them. EDIT: Sorry, I mean "hours" without a break, and with a single sims game you can obviously spend much more :)
