i havent preordered crysis, assassins creed, mass effect, rockband (game only), and ut3 but i have a target, and 3 ebgames near me. Should i be worried that I may not get any of these at release?

The only one of those that i would be worried about is Rock Band.

I find that unless there's some special preorder gift, it's not worth the time to preorder, because retailers always have copies in stock.

Unless you're planning on getting collectors editions of AC or ME, you probably don't need to worry about preordering. I wouldn't be too worried about not being able to find a copy of any of those games at one of the stores.

Personally, I don't really like to pre-order games that much. I'm kind of cautious about my money. What if the game sucks? I just blew some money on something I won't even get.

No worries about getting any of the games but Rock Band  ( considering the bundles are a good $180:evil:) but Assassins Creed and all those other games you should have no problem in getting! Believe me game of the year prospects such as Assassins Creed and UT won't be that hard to get, retailers are going all out purchasing as many copies as they can just as they did with Halo 3.

Rock band is about the only one that has a chance to sell out, and I think that's only if you want the whole $170 package. If you just want the game cause you've already got a mic and a guitar and don't care about drums then you might be ok.

Not really, unless you are ultimately sure you want the game day one and are not blinded by hype. I preordered BioShock blinded by hype and suffered the consequences. No games really have any supply issues unless a factory shuts down a week before release.

You should be fine unless you live in an area with A LOT of gamers.
