I have the first 3 games for my PS2, but I stopped at the Prisoner of Azkaban. I was wondering if 4, 5, and the newest one 6 is any good. Thanks.

If you are a fan, they are awesome, but short. If not, you probably wouldn't like them.
I love The Half-Blood Prince for Wii, and Gamespot gave it a 5.0...
I loved all the other ones too.
Do you say that to all people who ask about games here? :?Should probably look up some reviews, champ.

Do you say that to all people who ask about games here? :? Well, generally, it's a good place to start. If you would have asked people's opinions, that might have been received differently than 'are they any good'. However, I agree that that particular wasn't completely necessary with the way it was presented. Besides, I kind of want to know, too. :wink:I think that 4 is horrible, you can't move freely around the castle which is disappointing. 5 was great, you could move around the castle and talk to people and do all sorts of things and I think 6 is like 5.optiowHow did you move around in 4?
I only played Chamber of Secrets for Xbox; which is imo the best licensed game title for the system. I would try one of the newer Potters; but the whole 'three player control scheme' really turns me off... I'd like to enjoy exploring Hogwarts as an individual, but I guess I can't judge until I actually play them...
What made 4, 5, and 6 so bad?I`ve played 1st,3rd,4th,5th and 6th IMO 3rd was the best and the only game worth playing.

4th was horrible, because of the graphics and controls .I didn`t like the controls of 5th and 6 th,because you had to move your mouse all over your desk.
There are a lot of other licensed titles that are awesome, like The Warriors. I have trouble imagining Harry Potter as a better game. I'm not arguing; I haven't played it yet, but it's hard to believe.I only played Chamber of Secrets for Xbox; which is imo the best licensed game title for the system. Did you play the console versions? Those are the ones that I will be getting.Oh;I mean best licensed game for that system, since the Xbox didn't have many good licensed games. Of course; Chamber of Secrets can't hold a candle to say; Goldeneye or Spiderman 2.

Basically it wasn't until the 5th game that they incorporated Sandbox gameplay (like Bully and GTA.) Personally, I haven't played a HP games since ther third game.

Its been a while since I've played the third one, but couldn't you roam the grounds whenever you wanted?[QUOTE="LithuanianGamer"][QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"] What made 4, 5, and 6 so bad?Ragnarok1051

I think that the Harry Potter games go down hill after 3. Three was the best Harry Potter game no matter what system. The 5th and especially the4th game were a disgrace to the series.
the first harry potter game was fun on the PS1, I remember playing it
god knows why, I detest harry potter
The only Harry Potter I found disapointing was the Goblet of Fire I just hated the Gameplay for it but it is a shame it wasn't going to be an RPG game like Final Fantasy.
But I loved the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets bothon PS1, Prisonar of Azkaban was good as well.
Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince were both really short on story.
I only played the third one because I loved the movie and it was good.
I always cracked up at the random things the profesors had you do, like: "Oh merlin's beard I happen to have forgotten todays lecture book at the deepest sewers of Hogwarts where angry goblins inhabit, Harry, Ron, Hermione go find it for me will you" XDDD I simply love the awkwardness of it all. Also that if you roam the hallways at night you may encounter peeves or get attacked by trolls.
