Having trouble deciding your favourite game of all time?

I was wondering if your personal favourite game of all time has stayed fairly consistant over the past few years or if you keep changing your mind?

Personally, I considered Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island to be the best game ever for 9 years then2004 hit! Pikmin 2 has been my favourite game ever since so I guess I have been pretty consistant for my overall favourite game

A good example of the other option isme and my favourite DS game. It allways changes on me depending on my mood. If I'm in the mood for a slowergame that requires more thought and time, Dragon Quest V is my pick. If I desire speed and my obsession with time trials, Sonic rush or Sonic Rush Adventure is my pick. If I desire a good romp through my favourite gaming genre of all time, New Super Mario Bros. is my pick.

I only keep the ones that I like, so in that regard they're all my favs. But my top one has to be Age of Empires: Age of Kings DS. That was my first DS game I bought. Such a sweet solid game.

My favorite game of all time has remained the same for a decade - Chrono Cross. It probably will never budge. If Majora's Mask, FFIX, and Mass Effect couldn't dehtrone it, nothing will.

Since 1998 Half-Life was my favorite game of all time, followed by Half-Life 2. After the release of Half-Life 2, if anybody asked what my favorite game of all time was, I'd say the Half-Life series, but with Uncharted 1 & 2 out I really can't decide. I also recently played through MGS 1,2,3 & 4 and I loved the first 2 enough to say they were also two of my favorite games of all time. So yeah, I now have trouble deciding my favorite game of all time.

Generally I don't have a personal best game of all time, I have a personal list of best games of all time though.

Ever since its release, Kingdom Hearts has been my favorite game of all time. Even after making a top 150 list, it's still my nr. 0 game. I don't actually include it on the list, because it's just so obvious that I like it if people read my blogs, but it's still the king for me.

The first game I ever saw was The Legend of Zelda when my older brothers had the NES. 23 yrs has passed and that game is and always will be my favourite game.

Final Fantasy X is my favorite game of all time...it has been for several years now.

Same here. So many amazing games...

I have at least 3-5 "favourite" games from almost every year over the past 20 years of gaming history. To name one would be literally impossible for me.
